During the filming of Jism in 2002, Abraham began to date his co-star Bipasha Basu. They were in a relationship until early 2011. While together, the two were often referred to as a supercouple in the Indian media. Abraham once stated, “I have always kept quiet about my personal life and will continue to maintain a dignified silence. It’s just the way my parents raised me. I rather leave it at speculation.” The couple broke up in 2011. Abraham is now married to Priya Runchal, an NRI financial analyst and investment banker from the US but native to McLeod Ganj, whom he met in Mumbai, in December 2010. They married on 3 January 2014. Abraham is a fitness model and he abstains from smoking, consuming alcohol and any intoxicants. Due to this, he often avoids many parties and functions. Abraham is a sport bike collector. John Abraham is an Indian actor, film producer, writer and former model working in Hindi films. He has won a National Film Award and received five Filmfare nominations. After modelling for advertisements and companies, Abraham debuted in films with Jism (2003) and had his breakthrough performance with Dhoom (2004). Since his childhood, he was an enthusiast athlete and participated in 100m and 200m races. He has also represented his school at the district level in 100m race event. It was John’s and Bipasha’s first movie together, and they were then in an 8-year long relationship. Later, when the girls left, his chest was bleeding. When he asked one of the girls the reason behind that weird act, she said that she wanted his skin in his nails and he was shocked at this. John’s debut production- Vicky Donor was honoured with a National Award for the Best Popular Film Providing Popular Entertainment. His 2013 film- Madras Cafe was a big blockbuster hit and is one of the favourite films of him. John suffers from a deviated nasal septum, which means partially closed nose due to which he has to breathe through his mouth also.
